Reservations and bookings

Please make all reservations for you and your class in good time. Due to the high demand among nurseries and schools, we have established restricted visitor quotas. We want to provide you with the best possible experience and learning environment, all the while complying with safety requirements. Please note that appointments in the weeks prior to school holidays are particularly sought after.

Tips for your trip to the Universum®

As part of the preparations for your visit, you as a teacher are granted free entry on submission of confirmation that you are employed at the school, provision of your personal identification card/passport and specification of your reservation number.

If you have any further questions concerning the organisation, preparations or your stay with us, we will be happy to provide you with information material.

You are welcome to use the following “research tasks” on your discovery tour of the Universum®:

• The pupils choose their favourite exhibit and collect information on it. The exhibit is then presented in the scope of a “research conference”.
• The pupils form small expert groups for certain scientific phenomena and topics, which they investigate during their visit.
•  The class invents an exciting exhibit, describes and draws it, and possibly even builds it.

In addition to autonomous exploration of the Universum®, we also offer supervised guided tours for classes. These can be found under School Trips / Research and Technology Sessions.

Coach parking

Coaches can stop in front of the Atlantic Hotel directly opposite the Universum® Bremen to drop off and pick up passengers. There is also the possibility of parking coaches at the end of Wiener Strasse.

Welcome

One of our members of staff will welcome you and your class in person. As it is always only possible to greet a limited number at one time, it is essential that you arrive at the Universum® as punctually as possible. Our focus is on the individual experiencing of scientific phenomena. For this reason, our visitors are free to explore the centre at their leisure. If you have any questions or suggestions, please feel free to ask our trained staff.
