Take part in a rowing race with Freddy the skeleton or look into the eye of a tornado, create huge soap bubbles: At Bremen's Science Center, science is a hands-on affair.
Following the inauguration of the EntdeckerPark (Discoverer Park) in July 2007, Universum® Bremen combines both indoor and outdoor attractions. Covering an area of 5,000 m2, the park incorporates a scientific adventure landscape.
What can you see through a celestial window? How does a weather station
work? Can a ball dance on a jet of water? The 27-metre-high Turm der
Lüfte (Tower of Skies), standing at the centre of the EntdeckerPark,
has the answers.
Since October 2007 a rust-red cube has offered visitors to Universum® Bremen a great deal of variety. The striking building called the SchauBox lies opposite the Science Center and next to the new EntdeckerPark.
