Stone Hill (Steinhügel)

The Stone Hill is the central landscape element in the EntdeckerPark. You can climb and walk around it, and running through it is a gorge. The gorge winds itself through the hill, allowing you to look at it at various different angles. At one point the gorge becomes very narrow and a bridge leads from one side of the hill to the other. Can I climb the perpendicular section on the climbing wall? Scattered across the hill are stones of various types, all of which absorb solar energy to a smaller or larger degree. Which stone is the warmest to sit on?

Water Bell

Behind the Stone Hill is the Water Bell. At first glance it looks like a delicate glass dome. When you approach it, however, it becomes clear that a film of water covers the dome. At one point the Water Bell is open and visitors can enter it, almost without getting wet. Which forces keep the water in this delicate shape?

River Courses

On the Stone Hill, water flows downwards along different paths. Sand and stones are removed and deposited at the bottom. Waterways cut into the bed of sand, creating river valleys and gorges. What shapes do these deposits take? And where does a small river delta emerge?
