For teachers, trainee teachers and headmasters we offer information afternoons, training courses and workshops.

During each first/second half of the school year we hold three-hour information afternoons. These usually consist of a presentation on research- and discovery-based learning, including practical examples from various projects, a presentation on Universum^®'s range of services for schools, an excursion and an introduction to scientific work opportunities.

The training programme of the Universität Bremen (University of Bremen), the Bremische Evangelische Kirche (State Association of Protestant Day-care Facilities for Children of Bremen Protestant Church) and Universum^® Bremen is also aimed at primary school teachers. The current training programme, "Early Childhood Education", can be downloaded free of charge at www.uni4kita.de.

For primary schools we also offer individual training courses and workshops.

For secondary levels I and II, we offer project-integrated further training for teachers. In close collaboration, Universum^® and the establishment in question jointly draw up a plan for project implementation and presentation. This calls for a significant commitment from the teachers with respect to all content-, educational- and organizational-related issues, as well as with respect to the monitoring of the pupils. The aim is to enable those taking part to gain project management experience in relation to a scientific/technical area.
